Stewardship
Leader: Tony Mei

Stewardship, Education and Development through the Year

What is stewardship? Christian stewardship involves the responsible management of the financial affairs of the church as well as the individual or family, but it goes beyond money. God created all things, including people, who are to be caretakers, or stewards of all that God created. Being good stewards involves protecting and improving our natural surroundings and environment. It also includes our concern for humanity. Stewardship is our response to The Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20

The eScrip Program: Something for Nothing?!?!

  1. Do you shop at Safeway? Stay at a Quality Inn? Buy clothes at Old Navy? Eat at Mary’s Pizza Shack? If you do, and you REGISTER for e-Scrip, you will be earning up to an 8% return for St. Francis Church because we are a registered e-Scrip organization. After you register your debit, credit, Safeway Club Card and Chevron credit card, a contribution in your name is made to St. Francis each time you use your registered card at participating merchants.

Go to ESCRIP.COM and register online using our Group #5835641.

Once you’re registered, there’s nothing else to do but shop. You can go to http://www.escrip.com/ for a complete, up-to-date list of merchants.
