Sunday School

The 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month children are invited to attend Sunday School. At St. Francis we offer Godly Play, a Montessori inspired curriculum that teaches children the art of using Christian language through parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action. Godly Play helps children become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. Children join their parents at the beginning of the 10:00 am service. After the collect, children follow their teacher to the Godly Play classroom where they will hear a story, be invited into a time of wonder, and encouraged to respond to the story through art. Children rejoin their families in the church for communion.
