Holy Eucharist
This inter-generational service is a convergence of the ancient and modern traditions of the church both musically and liturgically. The service includes readings from scripture, a sermon, prayers of the people and Holy Eucharist.
St. Francis is a family-friendly church where all of God's children are welcome. Holy Eucharist is the primary gathering of the faith community, and we look forward to Sunday mornings as a time for intergenerational worship. It is with a great sense of joy and delight that we invite your whole family to worship with us.
Summer Services
In the summer months, we will occasionally celebrate Eucharist at an outdoor service in St. Clare's Chapel. Sitting underneath the heritage oaks we enjoy scripture, silence, song and sacrament. It's pretty amazing to worship in this sacred outdoor space. The Bay Area weather can be warm or cool so please bring your sunhat or blanket.
Covid Precautions
Per the California State, Marin County, and Diocese of California COVID guidelines, worship participants may choose to wear masks or not, and likewise observe social distancing as they are comfortable.
We are currently observing the following:

Church windows and doors shall remain open for ventilation to lower risk.

Pew seating shall continue to adhere to social-distancing guidelines.

Parishioners who feel ill are asked to attend services virtually to keep others safe.
